About Us

United Campus Workers Utah (UCWU) is a unit of the Communications Workers of America Local # 7765. Our union is our collective, independent voice. We are the workforce of the University of Utah and Utah State University including graduate students, undergraduate workers, staff, and faculty. Through our voice we address specific issues we experience on the job. We believe our working conditions are our students’ learning conditions, and will fight for substantial changes to ensure the success and dignity of future students and workers at higher education institutions across Utah.
